About Me
Hi, I'm Jasdeep!
I'm a designer with a graphic design background in brand systems, campaigns, and digital assets. My case studies apply that same eye for hierarchy and clarity to information architecture, usability testing, and product UI.
Background
I was born in Punjab, India and moved to the US when I was eight. That meant switching between languages and between versions of myself depending on which room I was in. It made me pay very close attention. When you can't take either world as the default, you start noticing the seams in both.
That's stayed with me. I notice the form that asks for the same information twice, the sign pointing the wrong way, the instructions written for someone who already knows what they mean. Most people move past these. I sit with them, and I usually can't stop thinking about how they could have been better.

Guiding Principles

Beginner's Mind
There's always more to learn, so I try to stay open to new situations rather than assume I already know how they'll go. I'd rather ask the obvious question than protect the impression that I already know.

Quiet Curiosity
"To observe is to allow yourself to be changed by what you see."
I'm constantly watching how people interact with spaces, behaviors, and the subtle details around them. Noticing those tiny things is how I pay attention to the world and people.

Perspective Beyond the Screen
Traveling, and spending time outdoors keep me grounded. Experiencing different places and ways of living keeps me open-minded and empathetic to the people I'm designing for.

I believe in giving people grace, listening first, and treating everyone with the same respect and warmth I’d hope for myself.
